Help AC Continue Its Legacy with a Year-End Gift

This holiday season, help the Advocacy Center of Louisiana protect, empower, and advocate for people with disabilities and seniors throughout the state. Your donations have helped the Advocacy Center build a 39-year legacy of changing the lives of people with disabilities and seniors. You can continue to help us change lives by making a year-end donation to the Advocacy Center today.

  • You can help keep kids with disabilities in school
  • You can help seniors stay in their homes in the neighborhoods they love
  • You can help people with disabilities keep their benefits while continuing to work
  • You can make life better for people with disabilities who live in group homes

You can help find safe, accessible housing for people with disabilities like Alicia, who uses a wheelchair:

Alicia and her daughter lived in an apartment. When Alicia asked her landlord for reasonable accommodations, he threatened to evict her. Alicia found out she could rent a wheelchair-accessible unit in public housing, but she was placed on a long waiting list. While she waited, her apartment became infested with roaches and she was forced to move with her child to a shelter.

Thanks to your support, the Advocacy Center of Louisiana was able to work with the Housing Authority to speed up the process of finding an accessible housing unit for Alicia, and she and her daughter now live in what she calls, "the nicest apartment we've ever lived in. You made that possible.

Please click here to make your donation today. People with disabilities and seniors in Louisiana, people like Alicia and her daughter, are counting on your support.

As federal and state programs for people with disabilities and seniors become the victim of budget cuts, the Advocacy Center of Louisiana is more dedicated than ever to providing quality, free legal and advocacy services to the most yulnerable populations of our state. Please help make this possible with your contribution.

Your donation is helping to protect, empower, and advocate for people with disabilities and seniors. Right here in Louisiana. Right now.

Thank you so much for your help.
