Celebrations for ALL Louisianians: Crescent City Blues and BBQ, Louisiana Cotton, Louisiana Gumbo, and Louisiana Book Festivals

Over the next year, the Advocacy Center will publish a series of articles with information about accessibility at fairs and festivals across the state. Today we focus on accessibility at Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana Cotton Festival in Ville Platte, Louisiana Gumbo Festival of Chackbay in Thibodaux and the Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge.

Mardi Gras Accessibility

Crowds, flying beads and road blocks are hallmarks of Mardi Gras celebrations across the state. As Louisiana prepares to celebrate Mardi Gras on March 8th, the Advocacy Center investigated options for people with disabilities to enjoy an accessible Mardi Gras.
