On May 7, 2013, the Advocacy Center held its Fourth Annual Harvesting Hope Luncheon at the Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans, raising almost $47,000 of much-needed funds to continue its work to protect, empower, and advocate for people with disabilities and seniors throughout Louisiana.
On May 5, 2013, Nemasa Asetra attended the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival through AC's Community Outreach Jazz Fest Ticket Program. About the experience, Nesama said, "Thank you, Advocacy Center, for giving me an unforgettable experience!"
AC is seeking volunteers to help ensure that accessible portable bathrooms at NOLA's French Quarter Festival (Apr 13-14, 2013) remain available for people with disabilities during the fest.
On October 4, 2012, the Advocacy Center's Staff and Board held a garden party for donors who had financially supported the agency over the past year.
AC recently completed another successful Summer Law Internship Program, with students from Tulane and Loyola universities. Click to read what these students had to say about AC's internship program.

On April 28, 2012, Ashley Volion attended the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival through AC's Community Outreach Jazz Fest Ticket Program. About the experience, Ashley said, "Thank you, Advocacy Center...I had the time of my life!"
On May 16, 2012, the Advocacy Center held its Third Annual Harvesting Hope Luncheon at the Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans, raising more than $42,000 of much-needed funds to continue its work to protect, empower, and advocate for people with disabilities and seniors throughout Louisiana.
