People of the AC: Yvonne High

Yvonne High is an Administrative Assistant with the Advocacy Center

Tell me a little bit about yourself.

I was born & raised in Leavenworth, Kansas. In 1989 I became a military spouse. In November 1998, we were stationed at Ft. Polk, Louisiana.

In 2004 I myself became disabled in a car wreck where I broke my neck in 3 places. After surgery & rehab I only came away with loss of use in my left hand.

How did you come to the AC?
The AC seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, for full time employment. I enjoy working at the AC because we are a very diverse group of people.
